People live in a myth that the undocumented workers or the illegal aliens receive benefits offered by the Social Security. But the fact is that there is no such provision made that can let such people avail these benefits.

Illegal aliens well as the undocumented workers are no way a part of these benefits and can never claim for such Social Security payback schemes. There are cases where such people provide some fraudulent Social Security number with a view that this might help them get such benefits. For clearing the doubts of most of the people about this issue, it is worth mentioning here that these people are no at all entitled to any of the Social Security advantages being offered. These are just rumors and have nothing true about them.

These misconceptions are prevailing out of the facts that back in the year 2006; a proposal was made for an amendment regarding the immigration laws. Though several people had voted for these amendments, but the bill died and was never transformed into any kind of law. So, the fact that can be believed is that these illegal aliens are liable to have a right towards the Social Security only if they have been granted the amnesty and once this happens they may have the rights for these benefits in terms of their prior work that they have done. So, the people must be aware of the existing laws and must not believe in rumors prevailing around them. They instead must try to stop the spread of such rumors elsewhere.
