Many women suffer with PMS related mood swings and it is a well known fact. Most men even think that when women are about to have their menstrual cycle they behave very badly. Magnesium is a very important mineral for the body and it also supports several functionalities like keeping the teeth healthy and also increasing the calcium absorption. Lack of magnesium on the other hand can cause mood swings in a person. Especially in women PMS related symptoms can be caused due to magnesium deficiency. Magnesium is available through regular food like halibut, bananas, fig, almonds, artichokes and also tomatoes.
Calcium also plays a very important role and you can add calcium in your diet through milk, buttermilk, yoghurt, cheese, sardines, and dairy products. If you are concerned about the fat, then have more butter milk and it is the best non fat solution for getting calcium into your diet.
However, in order to get all the vitamins through your daily meals have a planned diet. Like take one fruit meal, one meal of vegetables and also have fruits or salads in between. Divide your regular meals into five small meals and alternate between fruits, vegetables and meat.
