High pulse rate can be observed in various people and it is a condition wherein the heart starts beating extremely faster and does not leave any repercussions. In medical terms, it is known as Tachycardia which refers to a situation where the heart beats are higher than the normal which is generally between 60 and 100 per minute. Thus, when a pulse rate appears crossing this range, it is thought to be a higher pulse rate, which might be due to inefficiency or the inability of the heart in terms of pumping blood.
High pulse arte again are of two different kinds which includes ventricular tachycardia wherein it is associated with the ventricles, and the other one includes supra-ventricular under which the pumping occurs in upper side of heart. Out of both the kinds, the later is much more common than the former one. But still, in both the conditions, one must consult a doctor sooner.
There are plenty of factors that might be responsible for high pulse rates amongst people and these reasons too may vary while most of these causes do not last for a longer time period. It can either be caused due to some heart diseases, coronary or because of the high blood pressure. In such cases, the arteries are believed to be hardened which in turn makes it difficult to pump the blood within the body. Other factors such as high thyroid levels, metabolism related issues, and other heart disorders. Some of the temporary causes include vitamin deficiency or fever.
