However, some people claim that unpasteurized milk is a source of bacterial infection and should be only consume if you are sure that milk and subsequent dairy products made from the milk are from hygienic sources. Also, some states in the US have made raw milk products illegal, and therefore, it is also advisable to check the laws prevailing in your state.

While dairy products are source of numerous vitamins, calcium and Vitamin D, you should be careful about the source of milk from which these dairy products are made. It goes without saying that dairy products are healthy and hence, good for a person. However, consuming too much can also result in certain health problems, such as high cholesterol. This is especially true when a person regularly consumes fat-rich yogurts and cheeses. It is best to opt for a healthy alternative of dairy products, which is consuming low-fat products.

Do not let anyone tell you that consuming dairy products is bad for health. On the contrary, it is extremely healthy, especially for growing kids. The calcium present in the dairy products facilitates growth of bones and teeth. The vitamins and minerals present in the dairy products ensure that the person or kid does not suffer from deficiencies. In today's world, many children spend a lot of time indoors and do not spend sufficient time in the sun. This can impede the production of Vitamin D in the skin. Hence, consuming dairy products regularly ensures that the person or kid does not suffer from Vitamin D deficiency.
